October 2009 Springdale

Bryce, Liz and Rowan were able to come to Springdale Just before Halloween. It was a great weekend. Rowan loves being outside so we made the best of it. Rowan is all boy...I think he could have thrown rocks into the river all day.

It has been a while since we last posted. Since March Patty and I have spent a week in a time share trade in Downtown San Diego another week in San Diego with all the kids on the beach and several other side trips. One to Boulder Utah with our friends Scot and Barb Campbell. We ate at Hell's Backbone Grill (wonderful) and hiked to Calf Creek Falls. We also spent a couple of days on Lake Powell with the Campbells. We have had friends visit us in Springdale along with our kids several times. I have been lucky enough to get invited on several hikes with a group of Springdale locals and have enjoyed all of them.
We have spent several days watching our two beautiful grandkids. All in all it has been a very busy summer and my retirement is just flying by. I will post a few pictures of these past events and then hope to keep up with more current postings. I left all of the kids on the beach pictures in Springdale so I will post some later.

Labor Day 2009

Jody, Aaron and Raylee came to Springdale for Labor day weekend. We had a great time. Raylee seems to be guzzling grandpa's beer....but it was only Aarons rootbeer.

March 2009

Here is a short list of pictures that include a trip with the kids and grandkids to the Zoo for Jody's Birthday. My first outing on my new bike (I am trying to get into shape for the MS 150 ride in June).

Then of course the Annual St. Pattys day celebration in Springdale. Princess Patty and Barb Campbell rode with Terry in his 1985 Corvette. Scott rode as security for the entourage. Patty is hard to see in the front seat but was throwing beads to the crowd along with Barb. It was a great weekend and our good friend Ed even showed up.

Finally...Retirement...31 Great Years at Cyprus Credit Union!!!

The Credit Union had a reception for my retirement and it was a very fun party with lots of friends, family and co-workers. It was a happy day and a sad day all rolled into one. I will miss all of the great people that I have worked with and all the people that I have met throughout the years.

The gang from Southwest Business made the trip from San Antonio, Texas. It was great to see them.
