We just got back from a great few days in Point Pleasant New Jersey and in the "Big Apple". Our friend Ed has been renting a room in a guest house for the past 25 years in Point Pleasant. We stayed with him and did all of the beach and boardwalk things. We went to Monmouth Park Horse Track and bet on some ponies. 
We actually made a little money. The owners of the Pier Guest House, Lois and Joe, were great hosts. We had dinner at the Lobster Nazi and even had Happy Hour one morning at 8:00 AM. We had never seen an AM Happy Hour. Don't worry we only had a Bloody Mary.

Then it was off to New York were I had some business meetings. We had plenty of time to walk our legs off and we got to go to 2 Yankee games in the soon to be torn down Yankee Stadium. We did a play and the hop on hop off bus tour. It was a non-stop 9 days and we are glad to be back in quiet Springdale.
